At Kitabharu, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. This Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy explains the terms under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are accepted.
1. Returns
Physical Products (Books and Merchandise)
You may request a return if:
- The item you received is damaged, defective, or incorrect
- You report the issue within 3 days of receiving the product
- The product is unused, in original condition, and with all original packaging
To initiate a return, please contact us at support@kitabharu.com with:
- Your order ID
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging (if applicable)
Once verified, we will arrange a return pickup or ask you to send the item to our return address.
2. Exchanges
We offer free exchanges for:
- Items that are delivered in damaged or incorrect condition
- The same product if available in stock, or store credit if not available
Exchange requests must also be made within 3 days of delivery.
3. Refunds
Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be issued in the following cases:
- Returned items that are approved after inspection
- Orders canceled before shipping
- Inability to fulfill your order due to stock or delivery issues
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method or as store credit, depending on your preference.
Non-Refundable Items
We do not offer refunds for:
- eBooks, audiobooks, or other digital products once downloaded
- Products returned in used or damaged condition (unless reported as such on arrival)
- Products requested for return after the 3-day window
4. Cancellations
Orders can be canceled:
- Before dispatch — with a full refund
- After dispatch — cancellation is not guaranteed; contact support for options
